Partners in Ukraine

The National Academy of Arts of Ukraine unites members of scientific and art institutions and associations of Ukraine, and performs activities in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, central and municipal executive authorities, the National Academy of Sciences, branch academies of sciences, creative unions, art establishments and educational institutions of Ukraine. Representatives of the following artistic, educational and scientific institutions of Ukraine are committed to the activities of the NAAU and contribute to the establishment of cross-institutional partnerships.

National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (NAOMA)

A multidisciplinary academic institution of higher art education that qualifies specialists in fine arts, sculpture, graphics, theatre and stage design, architecture, art restoration, art history and art management.

"Kyiv Picture Gallery" National Museum

The museum is located on the premises of the former mansion of Fedir Tereshchenko (late 19th - early 20th century, architects V. Nikolayev, A. Hun). It has a collection of more than 12 thousand objects, ranging from icons of the 13th century to paintings and sculptures of the 19th and 20th centuries. The core of the museum's collection is made up of the art collections of Kyiv industrialists and patrons of the arts, the Tereshchenko family.

Taras Shevchenko National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre of Ukraine

The Kyiv Opera and Ballet Theater was founded in 1867. It is widely recognized far beyond the borders of Ukraine. Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts

Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts is one of the country's oldest artistic institutions of higher education: it was founded in 1921. It provides training in the following specializations: easel painting, graphics, monumental painting, sculpture, design (industrial, graphic, interior, furniture, interactive visual communications, artistic modelling of fabrics and clothing), art theory and history. It has three levels of higher education in design and fine arts.

Lesya Ukrainka National Academic Theater

A drama theatre in Kyiv is housed in the former Auguste Bergonier Theater. National Cinema Studio of feature films named after Oleksandr Dovzhenko

State Ukrainian film studio headquartered in Kyiv at 44 Peremohy Avenue, it covers an area of more than 17.5 ha and has four filming pavilions. One of them, with an area of 2,520 m², is the largest in Europe, created in the constructivist era and designed by architect Valerian Rykov. The studio employs more than 300 highly qualified directors, cameramen, artists, set designers, makeup artists, and sound engineers.

The National Honoured Academic Choral Capella "DUMKA"

Ukrainian choral group was founded in 1919 and established the foundations of professional choral performance and a cappella singing in Ukraine ("Dumka" is the abbreviation for "State Ukrainian Wandering Capella").
