The composer is the author of 3 ballets, 3 choral operas, 3 symphonies, 14 cantatas, 2 oratorios, 4 liturgies on canonical texts and many works of symphonic and chamber music, music for cinematic films, animations, 45 songs. The wide range of Lesia Dychko's creative preferences is complemented by choral concerts, which reveal another facet of her talent: her attraction to painting and sculpture, architecture and the original cultures of the peoples of Europe, Asia, Latin America, and her native Ukraine.
The most important part of her oeuvre is occupied by choral works, which clearly show a connection with folklore, rituals and Christian motifs. A special place is dedicated to the theme of children's music. According to Kyianovska, the composer managed to reveal this world "with all the immediacy and luminosity of a child's vision of nature and life".
Thus, Lesia Dychko is one of the leading choral composers in Ukraine. Her works have been widely presented at choral festivals, competitions and concert programmes around the world: the USA, Canada, France, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland, Ukraine, and the Czech Republic.
