At the celebratory event were present Victor Sydorenko, President of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine; Maksym Tymoshenko, Rector of the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music and Academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine; Viktor Bondarchuk, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine; and Andriy Puchkov, Adviser to the Praesidium of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine and Corresponding Member of the Academy.

On behalf of the Praesidium of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Victor Sydorenko congratulated the faculty and students of the Music Academy on this significant occasion. In accordance with the Resolution of the Praesidium dated October 23, 2025, and in recognition of outstanding contributions to the development of musical culture, the following distinctions were awarded:
– The Award of the Praesidium of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine to the Music Academy;– The Order of Arts of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, 3rd Class, to Academician Maksym Tymoshenko;– Silver Medals of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine to Corresponding Member Viktor Bondarchuk, Mykhailo Mymryk, Vice-Rector for Educational, Creative and International Affairs, People’s Artist of Ukraine, and Adriana Skoryk, Vice-Rector for Research, Honoured Art Worker of Ukraine, Professor;– Awards of the Praesidium of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine to Tetiana Andrushchenko, Academic Secretary of the Academy, Honoured Worker of Education of Ukraine, Professor, and Vasyl Chernets, Vice-Rector for Information and Public Relations, Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Professor.
The Honorary Diploma of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine was presented to Oleksandr Oleksiienko, Dean of the Faculty of Vocal and Conducting Studies, People’s Artist of Ukraine.

The festive ceremony was attended by Ukrainian politicians, Members of Parliament, scholars, and heads of higher art education institutions of Kyiv.
A concert followed, featuring the Academy’s professors and students, showcasing the exceptional level of performance mastery in Ukrainian musical art.
