On 22 August, 12:30, the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine will open an art exhibition of the representatives of the NAA of Ukraine
21.08.2024
Since the Biblical times, philosophers, minders, politicians, and especially artists have reiterated in different ways a laconic, simple, yet full of deep feelings and strength of spirit phrase: ‘The darkest night is before the dawn!’. Hope, faith in the future, and the victory of goodness and light over darkness encouraged and inspired, and gave strength and determination to many generations of our predecessors. In times of existential challenges and global threats, a ray of new life was born. That is precisely why the leitmotif, the motto of the latest project of the NAA of Ukraine is ‘Life Will Prevail’.
Following the traditions of classic academic shows and art salons, the Academy revives the custom of presenting to the esteemed public the creative achievements and developments created by corresponding members and academicians (full members) of the NAA of Ukraine. The project has brought together numerous works in various techniques and mediums, with the common denominator: the belief in a bright future, a peaceful sky, and a life that overcomes any dark, hostile, and invasive challenges.
The exhibition presents artworks by artists from four departments of the Academy, known and renowned in Ukraine and beyond. The exposition, whimsically combining different authors and formats, invites the viewer to a dialogue, a conversation: to become not only a witness but also an active participant in an act of art, a celebration of hope.
The opening of the exhibition will be held on 22.08.2024, 12:30 National Academy of Arts of Ukraine 20 Bulvarno-Kudriavska Street, Kyiv city
