On August 15, on the grounds of the National Preserve “Saint Sophia of Kyiv”, the photo exhibition “Resilient and Unshaken” was presented as part of the high art festival Bouquet Kyiv Stage.
26.08.2025
This exhibition is dedicated to Saint Sophia of Kyiv as a place of immense power — a sacred origin of Ukrainian identity and culture, a symbol of wisdom, inspiration, creation, and a confident gaze into the future.
The aim of the project is to present, through art and personal stories, the contribution of Ukraine and its heroic individuals to world civilisation, the defence of freedom, and the value of life.
The event was attended by prominent Ukrainian artist Anatolii Kryvolap — academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, and laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine.
President of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Viktor Sydorenko attended the ceremonial and creative event.
The exhibition is part of the larger multimedia project “Culture vs War”.
The concept was developed by Andrii Rizol, film producer, Head of the Association for the Promotion of Cinema in Ukraine “Watch Ukrainian!”, and Honoured Worker of Culture of Ukraine; and Serhii Mykhalchuk, cinematographer, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine, Honoured Artist of Ukraine, and recipient of the Order of Merit, 2nd class.
