On 8 October, the Mykola Lysenko Column Hall of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine will host the final concert of the 34th International Festival KYIV MUSIC FEST-2023.

The finale of KIEV MUSIC FEST 2023 will take place on 8 October at the Mykola Lysenko Column Hall of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine. The final concert of the festival "Ukraine. Music of War" will be performed by the National Honoured Academic Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, Corresponding Member of the NAA of Ukraine Volodymyr Sirenko, and the National Honoured Academic Chapel of Ukraine DUMKA, Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, Academician of the National Academy of Music of Ukraine Yevhen Savchuk. Soloists: Yevhen Heplyuk - piano Nazariy Pylatyuk - violin
The first section will feature the following pieces: "Anxieties of Our Nights" for piano and orchestra (2023) by composer, corresponding member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine - Ihor Shcherbakov (the world premiere) Symphony No. 3 "Halyna" for violin and symphony orchestra (2023) by composer, academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine Oleksiy Skrypnyk (the world premiere). The second section will feature pieces: "Bucha. Lacrimosa" (2022) composed by Victoria Poleva. "Ukraine. Music of War" for symphony orchestra and choir: I. "Music of War" II. "Lullaby for the Murdered Children" III. "Psalms of War" based on the poems of Taras Shevchenko, Lina Kostenko, Vasyl Symonenko and Psalms of David (2023) by composer, academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine Yevhen Stankovych.
