On 15 and 16 November 2023, the Department of Theory and History of Art of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine and the Modern Art Research Institute of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine will be running the 5th International Scientific Conference "Challenges of Methodology of Modern Art History and Cultural Studies" online. The conference will be attended by members of the departments of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, the Modern Art Research Institute and the Institute of Cultural Research of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, representatives of the national and foreign scientific community.
The plenary session will start on 15 November at 11 a.m. (Kyiv time), and the conference will be followed by workshops.

On 16 November, starting at 11 a.m. (Kyiv time), the audience will have an opportunity to hear presentations by young scientists, as the event will include relevant sections.

This year's conference will also feature a number of special events, including on 16 November at 3 p.m. in the premises of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (20 Bulvarno-Kudriavska St.) the book "Academician Liudmyla Milyaeva: Life in Art" will be presented by the author and publisher, academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine Tetiana Kara-Vasylieva.
