On December 12, the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference “100 Years of ARMU”, held within the framework of Avant-Garde Kyiv Fest 2025

During the conference, scholars discussed new interpretations and unexpected perspectives on the history of the Association of Revolutionary Art of Ukraine (ARMU), highlighting a wide range of topics — from artistic practices of the 1920s to contemporary re-evaluations of ARMU’s legacy.
In addition, the conference featured the presentation of the scholarly volume “A Century of ARMU and the Present Day”, published to mark the anniversary. The collection brings together key contemporary studies and discoveries that deepen both the historical understanding and the current relevance of ARMU.
