Late in June 2023, the logo of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine appeared on the door of a Nissan Navara SUV purchased for the needs of a military unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Starting from 27 June, the vehicle serves its best on the frontline.
The National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, at the initiative of the Academy's President Victor Sydorenko, together with the "Modern Ukraine" Charity Foundation (President Volodymyr Havrysh) and the NGO "All-Ukrainian Academy of Arts" (Director Andriy Puchkov), purchased and delivered a car to the antiaircraft missile platoon of the first battalion of one of the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is currently operating near the city of Bakhmut.
The contribution of the Academy and its members to the victory over the enemy was supported by a generous donation from Ukrainian artists: Pavlo Makov, Academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Anatoly Kryvolap, Academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Volodymyr WaOne Manzhos, Oleg Tistol, foreign member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine Sergei Sviatchenko, and Academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine Victor Sydorenko.
The Academy's contribution was joined by enthusiastic volunteer donors who raised funds to purchase medicines, containers, and stretchers, which were also sent to the frontline: Charitable Organisation "Charitable Foundation "UA.HELP", Pharmaceutical Company "FarCos" LLC, graphic artist, Master of Architecture Daria Skoropad (Germany).
Substantial organisational assistance was provided by Igor Abramovych, Advisor to the Directorate of the Modern Art Research Institute of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Pavlo Shevchuk, Head of the Kyiv Marketing Bureau, and employees of the Modern Ukraine Charity Foundation.
