On January 12, a press conference dedicated to the results of the 1st All-Ukrainian Folk Art Competition “Polissian Fairy Tale” for young artists was held at the press centre of the Interfax-Ukraine news agency. The competition was organised by the All-Ukrainian Cultural Platform “Polissian Fairy Tale” and the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture

The event was attended by: - Oles Sanin, Vice President of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Corresponding Member of the NAA of Ukraine, Laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine and the Oleksandr Dovzhenko State Prize of Ukraine, People’s Artist of Ukraine; - Oleksandr Tsuhorka, Rector of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, Honoured Art Worker of Ukraine; - Margarita Bondarieva, founder of the All-Ukrainian Cultural Platform “Polissian Fairy Tale”; - Akhtem Seitablayev, actor, director, Honoured Art Worker of Ukraine; and - Oksana Poviakel, Director General of the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine, Honoured Cultural Worker of Ukraine.
