On 13 August at 16:00, the multimedia art project “Oleksandr Dubovyk. The Triumph of the Bouquet”, dedicated to the anniversary of Oleksandr Dubovyk, Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and recipient of the President of Ukraine’s “National Legend of Ukraine” distinction, will open at the premises of the National Conservation Area “St Sophia of Kyiv” as part of the “Bouquet Kyiv Stage” arts festival.
12.08.2026
The exhibition, which will unfold across five rooms of the Khlibnia Gallery, will trace the artist’s long creative journey and the evolution of his individual style. Three exhibition spaces — “After the War”, “Transformation of the Bouquet” and “Hello, Mr Dubovyk!” — will be brought together into a single narrative.
The project will bring together painting, graphic works, the artist’s poetic and philosophical texts, music by contemporary Ukrainian composers Serhii Piliutykov and Maxim Shalghin, and cutting-edge technologies.
The event is organised by Dom Master Klass, an independent Ukrainian cultural centre.
The curator of the artistic event is art historian, Honoured Artist of Ukraine and Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine Olesia Avramenko.
The project’s co-organisers are the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine and the Modern Art Research Institute of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine.
