On 11 May, MARI welcomed guests for the opening of the “Concentration of the Will” project. The exhibition space of the Modern Art Research Institute became the first of three exhibition spaces of a large-scale project that will follow at the M17 Contemporary Art Center and the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine.

The project aims to show how contemporary art reveals the Ukrainian vision of will, which contributes to the efforts of Ukrainians today to accumulate their strength to resist the Russian invasion.

The “Concentration of the Will” project is jointly organised by the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, the Modern Art Research Institute and the M17 Contemporary Art Centre. The event is supported by the Art Support Fund.
