Volodymyr Bondarenko focuses on being exhibited at museums and shows, interiors of public and private buildings. He is the author of the concept of new Ukrainian design and initiator of various creative projects. Between 1982 and 2003, he participated in more than 20 national and international exhibitions in Kyiv, Nuremberg, Verona, Frankfurt, Berlin and other cities in Ukraine and beyond. In 1987, the artist created the famous exposition of the republican exhibition " The Youth of the Country", which has been included in the history of contemporary Ukrainian art as a milestone and a breakthrough. He proved himself as a talented pedagogue: many young, talented and promising artists began their creative careers in the design bureau "ART-TEK", headed by him.

V. Bondarenko widely represents contemporary Ukrainian design in the world: In 1991, he created the concept of the first Ukrainian design exposition at the Consumenta International Exhibition in Nuremberg. A special place in the artist's oeuvre is occupied by furniture; he has patented technological inventions in this field. His works impress with their subtle understanding of the material, quality of production, demonstrating the unity of new forms, technologies and materials. The artist's work has received extensive press coverage. 

1953 - born on 11 February in Kharkiv.1977 - graduated from Kharkiv Art and Industrial Institute with a degree in Interior and Equipment.1977 - started his career as an artist at the Kharkiv Art and Industrial Complex of the Art Fund of Ukraine.1997 - created and headed (creative director) the ART-TEK design bureau.
