Liquid Biopsy Project for Cancer Monitoring

The project involves screening for certain types of cancer using a simple blood test. Dr Catherine Alix-Panabieres and a team of European researchers from the University Hospital of Montpellier are working on the project. The project is a more reliable and less invasive method of personalizing treatment and providing the right care to the person in need at the right time.

The Project Developed by Dr Swain

The Aleksandr Savchuk Foundation, headed by Taisiya Savchuk-Polischuk, supports the work of Dr Swain and his team at Georgetown University in the United States of America. The work is aimed, in particular, at studying the genes of breast cancer in nearly 300 patients. The results of the study will allow considering new treatment methods.
