NewsDiscussion Platform “New Country. Key Issues”

On January 29, a discussion platform titled “New Country. Key Issues” took place in the Grand Hall of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine.

The public project was organized by the Ukrainian investment company EFI Group and the online media outlet LB.ua.
As part of the event, two interviews and three discussion panels were held.

The opening of the discussion meeting was launched with welcoming remarks by Igor Liski, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of EFI Group.
The panel discussions were moderated by Sonia Koshkina, Editor-in-Chief of LB.ua.
We thank all participants for the open dialogue and the shared search for solutions to address the urgent challenges of our time.

Over the course of several hours, guests of the information event had the opportunity to - follow a conversation with Archbishop of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and Metropolitan of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia in the USA, Bishop Borys (Gudziak) on the necessity of preserving hope even in the darkest times;
- reflect on the value of human life and the trials awaiting the Homeland this year during a moderated discussion with Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Pavlo Palisa and Commander of the 2nd Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine “Khartiia” Ihor Obolienskyi;
- learn about Ukraine’s future prospects amid the formation of a new world order from Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha;
- explore the current state and future outlook of Ukraine’s energy sector with Serhii Koretskyi, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, Chairman of the Board of Ukrenergo (2020–2024), and Serhii Kovalenko, CEO of YASNO; and
- reveal the importance of coordinated cooperation between the state and business after the speech of Oleksii Sobolev, Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, Serhii Voitsekhovskyi, Member of the Board of Directors of BGV Group, and Igor Liski, Founder of EFI Group.
