The Art Prize for Solidarity, established in 2022 under the initiative of the President of the International Association of Arts (AIAP/IAA) Bedri Baykam (Turkey), was solemnly awarded to Ukrainian artists Nikita Tsoi and Victor Sydorenko.

On 27 July, the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine hosted the solemn awarding of the Art Prize for Solidarity. On behalf of the President of the International Association of Arts (AIAP/IAA), foreign member of the NAA of Ukraine Bedri Baykam and the Turkish National Committee of Arts (UPSD), First Vice-President of the NAA of Ukraine, academician Valeriy Bitaiev presented the attributes of the Art Prize for Solidarity personally to Ukrainian artists Nikita Tsoi and Victor Sydorenko, and thus to all Ukrainian artists. The commemorative sign with the slogan "Stop War!" states that our artists were awarded "in the face of the terrible war that Ukraine and its great people are experiencing, with sympathy to the Ukrainian artistic community and our colleagues for the disaster they are undergoing, with our most sincere and heartfelt solidarity and best wishes." Expressing his gratitude to the initiators of the award, the President of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, Academician Victor Sydorenko, reminded that the high distinction was established on 15 April 2022 in Mexico, in honour of Leonardo da Vinci's birthday, which has since been celebrated as the World Art Day.
The ceremony was attended by Vice-Presidents of the Academy, Corresponding Members of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Oles Sanin and Yuriy Vakulenko, Academician-Secretaries of the Academy's departments Academician Mykola Yakovlev and Academician Oleksiy Bezgin, Acting Academic Secretary of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine Academician Oleksiy Skrypnyk, and members of the Office of the Presidium of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine.
