Bondarchuk Viktor was born on March 26, 1980.In 2006, he graduated with honours from the P.Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, where he gained a degree in Musical Arts. He is qualified as an educator, orchestra conductor for folk instruments, conducting teacher, and concert performer specializing in accordion.
In 2009, he completed his postgraduate studies at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, Department of Theory and History of Culture. In 2012, he defended his thesis for the degree of PhD Candidate in Art History ‘Musical Life of Cherkasy Region in the Nineteenth and Early Twentieth Centuries in the Context of the Formation of Professionalism in the Musical Culture of Ukraine’. Since 2012 - Head of the Opera Company of the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine.In 2015, he was appointed Associate Professor of the Department of Bayan and Accordion at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine.Since 2016 - Dean of the Vocal and Conducting Faculties of the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine.2017 - 2018 academic year - Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee of the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine. From 01.12.2018 - transferred to the position of Acting Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine.From 01.01.2019 - Acting Professor of the Department of Bayan and Accordion of the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine.Since 02.12.2019 - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine.Member of the National All-Ukrainian Music Union.
He is the author of the textbook for university students ‘History of Folk Instrumental Performance in Ukraine’, the single monograph ‘Dmytro Hnatiuk: Opera Singer, Music Director, Educator’, co-author of collective monographs, has prepared more than 70 scientific articles, participated in numerous scientific and practical conferences, developed educational and professional, educational and scientific, educational and creative programmes, and curricula. On 28.03.2019, he defended his dissertation for the degree of PhD in Art History on the topic ‘The Phenomenon of Dmytro Hnatiuk's Creativity in the Music and Theatre Culture of Ukraine in the Second Half of the Twentieth and the Beginning of the Twenty-First Century’ in the speciality 26.00.01 - Theory and History of Culture (on 15.10.2019, he was awarded the degree of PhD in Art History).In 2019, he headed the group for licensing and accreditation of educational and professional and educational and scientific programmes in the field of knowledge 02 ‘Culture and Art’, speciality 026 ‘Performing Arts’.
He is in charge of the licensing procedure for the training of foreigners and stateless persons at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy. Since 2019, he has been the director of the Confucius Music Centre at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy.Coordinator of the UNESCO Chair ‘Music, Education, Science for Peace’ at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine. Certified participant of the international information week of the EU Erasmus+ programme in Ukraine.He provides scientific supervision of applicants for higher education of the second (master's) level and the third educational and scientific degree of ‘PhD’ and the educational and creative degree of ‘PhD in Art History’.He was awarded the Order of the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine ‘For Outstanding Achievements in Musical Art’ (No. 287, decision of the Academic Council of the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine No. 8 of 25.05.2020).He was awarded the Order of the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine (certificate No. 012, Kyiv - 2023).He was awarded the badge ‘For Contribution to the Defence of Kyiv’ (Order of the Mayor of Kyiv dated 26.08.2023 No. 901).He was awarded the ‘Gratitude Certificate’ of the command and personnel of the Volunteer Formation (T-2) of the territorial community No. 5 of Kyiv of the Territorial Defence Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine together with the Board of the DFTG T2 Charitable Foundation.
He was awarded the 'Honour. Glory. State’ medal for courage, patriotism, and high civic position (Order of the Mayor of Kyiv dated 03.04.2024 No. 304).
He was awarded the award of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine ‘For Achievements in the Development of Culture and Arts’ (No. 359, 2019).
He was awarded the Acknowledgement of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine ‘For conscientious work, significant personal contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists and fruitful teaching activities’ (2019).
He was awarded the Certificate of Honour of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine ‘For a significant personal contribution to the development of Ukrainian culture, years of conscientious work and high professionalism, active volunteer activity shown under martial law (No. 32908 of 12 July 2024).
