Kyrylo Kashlikov, after earning a degree from the Kyiv State Institute of Theatrical Arts named after I. Karpenko-Karyi, began his career in 1992 as an actor at the Lesya Ukrainka National Academic Theatre. Later, he obtained another degree from the same institution, specializing in Theatre Management.

Over his career, Kashlikov has created more than 40 roles in productions spanning both contemporary and classical repertoires. His notable performances include roles in The School for Scandal by R. Sheridan, Doors Are Slamming by M. Fermo, Games In The Backyard by E. Mazya, Royal Games by H. Gorin, The Lady Minister by B. Nušić, No.13 (Mad Night or Pigden's Wedding) and Run for Your Wife by R. Cooney, Trees Die Standing by A. Casona, among others. In addition to his work on stage, Kashlikov has appeared in films and brought numerous characters to life in radio and television productions.

For many years, he has combined his theatrical career with teaching. Kashlikov taught acting training at the Department of Acting at KNUTCaT named after I.K. Karpenko-Karyi and led the Professional Studio for Young Actors at the Lesya Ukrainka Theater. In 2007, he made his directorial debut, and to date, his repertoire as a director includes six productions currently staged at the theatre. These include Juliet and Romeo (based on Shakespeare), The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by S. Stephens (based on the novel by M. Haddon), and The Cripple of Inishmaan by M. McDonagh.

On December 31, 2022, Kyrylo Kashlikov was appointed General Director and Artistic Director of the Lesya Ukrainka National Academic Drama Theater.

He has been awarded the Badge of Courage and the Grand Gold Medal of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine (2019).
