LAHUTENKO Olha Andriiivna is a laureate of the Platon Biletskyi Prize of the Kyiv Organisation of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. O. Lahutenko is the author of numerous scientific studies and fundamental monographic publications on Ukrainian art and artistic culture. 
After graduating from the Kyiv State Art Institute, she worked on the creation of a new museum of architectural ceramics in the State Architectural and Historical Reserve "St Sophia Museum". After moving to Odesa in 1987, she joined the Odesa Literary Museum as a senior researcher in the Department of Literature of the 1920s and 1930s, and was a lecturer at the M.B. Grekov Odesa State University of Fine Arts. After graduating from the postgraduate course at the UAA and defending her dissertation, in 1998, at the invitation of the St Sophia of Kyiv Conservation Area, she headed the Museum of Architectural Ceramics. In 2002-2004, she held the position of Deputy Director General for Research at the NAMU, and in 2009-2014 she headed the Department of Graphic Design at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts (part-time). She has been teaching at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture since 1998, and since September 2017 she has been the Head of the Department of Art Theory and History at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. 
The researcher regularly participates in international scientific conferences and art projects (Kyiv, Harvard, Paris, Leipzig, Magdeburg, Cologne, Prague, Warsaw, Stalowa Wola, Krakow), curates and co-curates exhibitions and art projects. Her research represents the best achievements of Ukrainian art and art history of the past and present. She is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, a member of the bureau of the Art Criticism and Art History Section of the Kyiv Organisation of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. O. Lahutenko is the Vice President of the Ukrainian Section of the International Association of Art Critics AICA (UNESCO) and Vice President of the All-Ukrainian NGO "League of Culture"; she was the Head of the Expert Council on Culture, Art and Tourism at the Accreditation Commission for Licensing and Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions of 1-4 accreditation levels, a member of the Intersectoral Expert Council at the Accreditation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The list of O. Lahutenko's scientific works includes more than 100 items. She is the author of the following monographic studies: "Ukrainian Book Cover of the First Third of the 20th Century" (2005), "Ukrainian Graphics of the First Third of the 20th Century" (2006), "Graphein Graphics: Essays on the History of Ukrainian Graphics of the 20th Century" (2007), "Mykhailo Stepanovych Tkachenko" (2010), "Petro Bevza. Painting" (2010), "Ukrainian Graphics of the 20th Century" (2011), "The Phenomenon of Andriy Chebykin's Creativity" (2016). O. Lahutenko is the co-author of chapters in collective scientific works: "Ukrainian Modernism. 1910-1930" (2006), "History of Ukrainian Art in 5 volumes - Vol. 5. Art of the 20th Century" (2007), "Essays on the History of Ukrainian Design of the 20th Century" (2012), "History of Ukrainian Culture in 5 volumes - Volume 5. Ukrainian culture of the 20th - 21st centuries" (2013); she has published articles in the books: "The Omnipotence of Beauty. Graphics and Painting of Mykhaylo Zhuk" (2011), "Art of the Ukrainian Sixties" (2015), "Counterculture: Graphics of "Informal Academics" of the 1950s-80s" (2017), "Graphic School from UAA to NAFAA" (2018), "Ukrainian Theatre Costume of the 20th and 21st Centuries. Sketches" (2021). 
Recently, O. Lahutenko's articles have been published in foreign editions: "The Art of Constructivism in Ukraine in the 1920-1930s" (2019), "The Influence of Stanislaw Wyspianski on Ukrainian Graphics Through the Work of Mykhailo Zhuk" (2019), "Vasyl Yermylov in the Context of Ukrainian and European Art of the First Third of the Twentieth Century" (2020). She was awarded the Golden Fortune medal "People's Honour to Ukrainian Scientists" in honour of the centenary of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (1918-2018), the Silver Medal of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine (2021).
