Scientific Secretary of the Department of Synthesis of Plastic Arts at the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine. Professor at the Department of Architecture and Spatial Planning at the National Aviation University. Holds a Doctorate in Architecture (2021) and was awarded the title of Associate Professor (2022).
An organiser, co-organiser, moderator, and participant of over 30 national and international scientific and practical conferences on the history, architecture, and art in Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, Sweden, and Cyprus. The author of more than 70 scientific publications in specialised Ukrainian and international journals, focusing on the history of Ukrainian architecture in a global context, including the solo scientific monograph "From Modern to Modernism: Three Stages of Kyiv's Architecture."
Research Interests: History and theory of architecture, art studies, sustainable development, urbanism, and cultural studies.
In 2005, he graduated from a specialized class with an in-depth study of French at Secondary School No. 285 in Kyiv, earning a silver medal. In 2011, he completed a Master’s degree at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (NAOMA), specialising in the architecture of buildings and structures. In 2017, he graduated with a Master’s in Traditional Arts from the University College of Southeast Norway. In 2014, he completed postgraduate studies at NAOMA and in February 2015 earned the academic degree of PhD Candidate of Architecture. In 2018, he completed doctoral studies at Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. In February 2022, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in the Department of Theory, History of Architecture, and Synthesis of Arts at NAOMA.
He worked as a Senior Researcher in the Collections Department of the National Reserve "Saint Sophia of Kyiv," and as a Senior Researcher in the Challenges Research Laboratory for the History of Ukrainian Art and Architecture at NAOMA.
He has delivered original lecture courses at the National Academy of Culture and Arts Management, the Open International University of Human Development “Ukraine,” the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, the KROK University, and the National Aviation University, where he served as Head of the Department of Architecture and Spatial Planning in 2022.
In 2015, he was the Secretary of the Ukrainian delegation at the 5th session of UNESCO's "Convention on the Protection of the Underwater Cultural Heritage" (Paris).
A member of the UIA Architectural Education Commission (2023–2026) under UNESCO, he also serves as the Head of the Ukrainian branch of INTBAU (The International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture, and Urbanism). He is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and the National Union of Architects of Ukraine, and he chairs the Young Architects’ Union (NYAU).
His achievements include being awarded the medal “National Recognition for Ukrainian Scholars. 1918–2018” by the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (2018), a commendation from the Mayor of Kyiv (2021), and the KONUA (Kyiv Organization of the National Union of Artists) Artist Award in the Criticism and Art Studies section (2022).
