Anna Myronova was born in Kyiv on January 3, 1977.
In 1997, she graduated from the Kyiv Art and Industrial College (now the Mykhailo Boychuk Kyiv State Academy of Decorative Applied Arts and Design), specializing in Design. Until 2007, she had been studying at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (in the Free Graphics Studio led by A.Chebykin), majoring in Fine and Decorative Applied Arts.
She works professionally in painting, graphics, sculpture, creating art objects, and photography. Since 2002, she has participated in numerous exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. Myronova has developed 22 solo projects and participated in over 140 group exhibitions. She holds 10 certificates of copyright registration for her works. Her works have been awarded distinctions and diplomas at various graphic triennials and exhibitions.
Since 2008, she has been a Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and a Member of the bureau of the Kyiv Organization of Graphic Artists within the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
Between 2008 and 2022, she served as secretary of the bureau of the Kyiv Organization of Graphic Artists within the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 2023, she has been a member of the Board’s Commission for Creative Affairs at the Kyiv Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, and since 2024 - an expert at the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation. She also teaches at Borys Hrinchenko Kyiv University.
Myronova’s works from the 2000s have attracted attention for their vivid metaphorical language and her deep understanding of the materials with which she works, receiving high praise from art critics, colleagues, and collectors.
Her works are held in the collections of the National Art Museum of Ukraine, the Kyiv History Museum, the Odesa National Art Museum, the Korsak Museum of Contemporary Ukrainian Art, the National Center “Ukrainian House,” the Cherkasy Art Museum, the Dnipro Art Museum, and the M17 Contemporary Art Center.
Solo Projects and Exhibitions include: “The Past That Has Taken Root” (2010); “Colouring Book for Adults,” a socio-artistic project, Ya Gallery Art Center (2014); “Coats of Arms of Memories” as part of the X ART-KYIV Contemporary, National Cultural Art and Museum Complex “Mystetskyi Arsenal” (2015); “Geotexts,” RedBlack Art Group (2020); “Unfinished Stories: New Works from the Collection. Anna Myronova. Between Strokes,” National Art Museum of Ukraine (2023); and more.
