Tetiana Nazarova has been working at the Lesya Ukrainka National Academic Theatre for over thirty years. She is an actress of a wide performance range, who is proficient in lyrical, dramatic and comedic genres. On the stage of this theatre, she created images that went down in the history of modern theatre, including Charlotte (The Young Years of King Louis 14th by Alexandre Dumas), Lady Teasel (The School of Scandal by Robert Sheridan), Aigül (The Boundary of Calm by P. Zagrebelny), Coralie (When a Horse Faints by F. Sagan), Toybele (Toybele and Her Demon by I. Bashevis Singer), Margaret (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof by T. Williams), Hanna Andriyivna (The Government Inspector by M. Gogol), Patrick Campbell (Dear Liar by D. Kilty), Zhyvka (Madam Minister by B. Nušić), Murzavetska (Wolves and Sheep by A. Ostrovsky), Corsican (Napoleon and the Corsican by I. Hubač), Ranevska (The Cherry Orchard by A. Chekhov), Toinette (Imaginary Sick by J.-B. Molière), Yuliya Mykolayivna (In This Sweet, Old House by O. Arbuzov), and many more.
The roles played by T. Nazarova reveal a wide range of her talent: from grotesque, farce, comedy to high tragedy, with a deep portrayal of the most intimate features and individual characteristics of a stage character. She can be considered the leader of the acting generation that came to the Lesya Ukrainka Theatre in the late 1970s and early 1980s. T. Nazarova is a well-known film actress who has played leading roles in popular films and TV shows such as Lesya Ukrainka, Marusya Churai, This Nice Imp, Roksolana, The Birthday of the Bourgeois, and Tomorrow Will Be Tomorrow.
She was awarded the Order of Merit of the First, Second and Third Classes, and the Gold Medal of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine.
