The high professional level of Volodymyr Pryadka and his bright creative personality have gained him due recognition in Ukraine and abroad. He is the author of outstanding works of monumental and decorative art, mosaic and sculptural reliefs, stained glass works, and thematic tapestries. V. Pryadka organically combines his creative work with the public one: he speaks on radio, television, and has publications in the press. Numerous reviews about the artist's creative achievements are available in the media.

Major works: mosaic relief "The Sun of Love", tapestry "Hymn to Life", stained glass window "Family and Motherland" (Palace of Solemn Events, Oleksandriia, 1968-1970); tapestries "Rus" and "Dawn of the Revolution" (1978); "The Legend of Kyi" (Museum of History of Kyiv, 1982). 1942 - born on 4 March in Khodoriv village, Myroniv district, Kyiv region.
1966 - graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute with a degree in Sculpture.
1966-1992 - Kyiv Monumental and Decorative Art Combine, monumental artist.
1992-2005 - Chairman of the Union of Folk Art Masters of Ukraine (1998 - the Union was granted the status of National).
1997-2005 - editor-in-chief of the "Folk Art" magazine.
2001-2004 - Corresponding Member of the AAU.

Position: Professor of the Department of Artistic Foundations of Decorative and Applied Arts at the Kyiv State Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design named after M. Boychuk.

Awarded: Order of Merit, 3rd Class (2002), Diploma of the Council of Ministers of Ukraine (1982), Gold Medal of the AAU (2012).
