Laureate of International Competitions: Winner of the International Bohodar Kotorovych Violin Competition (Kharkiv, 1999), the K. Flesch Competition (Hungary, 2003), and the Mykola Lysenko International Competition (Kyiv, 2007). He was also awarded the Grand Prix at the “Blessed by the Violinist’s Hands” Competition (Ternopil, 2010). At the Yuri Yankelevych International Violin Competition, he earned First Prize and a special award – a violin crafted by the renowned French luthier A. Carbonare.
In 2010, he received the Grand Gold Medal from the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine and was honoured with the Young Scientists Award from the Lviv Regional State Administration and Council.
In 2014, he attained the title of Candidate of Arts.Festival Participation: A regular participant in prestigious festivals such as “Kyiv Music Fest” (Kyiv, 1999–2022), “Days of Ukrainian Culture in Moldova” (Chișinău, 2000), “Stars of the Planet” (Yalta, 2001–2003), “Music Is Our Shared Home” (Kharkiv, 2003), “Music Days on the Oder” (Poland), the A. Didur Festival (Poland, 2005), the German Music Festival in Poland (2006), the Hunter Festival (USA, 2008–2024), “Myroslav Skoryk Music Days” (Kyiv, 2013–2024), “Charleston Music Fest” (USA, 2020–2023), and “Mariupol Classic” (2021–2022). He is also a laureate of the New Names of Ukraine Cultural Fund (Ukraine, 2001) and a permanent participant in the “Virtuosi” festival in Lviv.
He has been a Presidential Scholar (2005, 2009, 2021) and was recognised as the Best Student of the Year in Ukraine (2008).
From 2008 to 2010, he served as concertmaster and soloist of the Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra in Opole (Poland).He graduated from the Solomiya Krushelnytska Lviv Specialized Music Boarding School in 2004 under the tutelage of Professor Ihor Pylatiuk. From 2004 to 2011, he studied at the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy in the same professor’s class. He honed his skills in masterclasses with renowned professors, including Bohodar Kotorovych (2000–2007), Zakhar Bron (Poland, 2002, 2004; Hamburg, 2006), Michael Frischenschlager (Austria, 2003, 2005), Joseph Tomasek (Austria, 2004), and Anna Chumachenko (Munich, 2007).
Since 2022, he has been a professor in the Department of Violin at the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy. He also pursued a second degree in opera and symphonic conducting under the guidance of People's Artist of Ukraine, Professor Ivan Yuziuk, at the same academy.
In 2014, he conducted the premiere of Mykola Lysenko's opera Natalka Poltavka, adapted by Myroslav Skoryk, at the Solomiya Krushelnytska Lviv National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet.
In 2014–2015, Nazar Pylatyuk completed an internship at the Franz Liszt Academy (Weimar, Germany) under the guidance of Professor M. Simma. He maintains an active concert and touring schedule, performing across Ukraine, Poland, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, the USA, Norway, Spain, and Israel.

The Hero of Ukraine, Shevchenko Prize laureate, and composer Myroslav Skoryk dedicated his Violin Concerto No. 7 to Pylatiuk. In 2014, the concerto was recorded by the NAXOS studio with the Odesa National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of the renowned conductor Earl Hobart.

In 2019, during the “Virtuosi” festival, the premiere of Gloria in Excelsis Deo, a concerto for violin, voice, and symphony orchestra by Shevchenko Prize laureate Bohdana Frolyak, was performed to great acclaim. This piece was also dedicated to Pylatiuk.
Pylatiuk has performed with esteemed ensembles, including the Swedish National Symphony Orchestra of Radio and Television, the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, Kyiv Soloists, Kyiv Chamber Orchestra, Mariupol Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra "Renaissance," B. Lyatoshynskyi Ensemble of Classical Music, Harmonia Nobile Chamber Orchestra, and many others across Ukraine (Rivne, Vynnytsia, Chernivtsi) and internationally, including Lviv Virtuosos, the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Lviv National Philharmonic named after M. Skoryk, the Academic Orchestra of the Dnipro Philharmonic named after L. Kogan, the Academic Orchestra of the Ivano-Frankivsk Philharmonic named after I. Malaniuk, the Academic Orchestra of the Ternopil Philharmonic named after S. Krushelnytska, the Academy Chamber Orchestra of the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy, the B. Lyatoshynsky's chapel of the NBO and the CMU.
He has collaborated with leading Ukrainian conductors, including Ihor Yuziuk, Yurii Porokhovnyk, Volodymyr Kriatchok, M. Kriel, V. Syvokhyp, Y. Bervetskyi, I. Pylyatiuk, S. Burko, V. Sirenko, B. Plish, V. Ploskina, A. Toribaiev, D. Logvin; as well as international maestros such as Bohdan Davidov (Poland), Charles Grabowski (Poland), and Earl Hobart (Ukraine, USA), G. Mosop (Sweden). His performances have featured celebrated musicians, including pianists: P. Dovhan (Ukraine), Y. Yermyn (Ukraine), V. Vynnytsky (USA), M. Drahan (Ukraine), D. Onishchenko (Ukraine), T. In 2023, Pylatiuk was honored with the Mykola Lysenko State Prize. In July 2024, he was named a Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine. On August 24, 2024, in recognition of Ukraine's Independence Day, he was awarded the title of "People’s Artist of Ukraine" by Presidential decree. 
Renowned violinist Saulius Sondeckis described Pylatiuk as “a talented and highly promising violin virtuoso with an exceptional sense of style and impeccable technique, dedicated to uncovering the essence of music. An extraordinary violinist, his brilliant victory at the C. Flesch competition is a confirmation of this”. Nazar Pylatyuk’s performance style is distinguished by dazzling virtuosity, poetic inspiration, and a deeply individual emotional sensitivity, marking him as a leading representative of Ukraine’s new generation of musicians.
Current Role: Soloist of the highest category at the National House of Organ and Chamber Music of Ukraine.
